Northeast Pennsylvania Football
The North East Pennsylvania (NEPA) Miners are a minor league football team bringing a first of its kind football league to North Eastern Pennsylvania that will set the Miners apart from their competitors. While the Miners represent all of North East Pennsylvania, their basis of operations is the Poconos, encompassing the areas of Wilkes-Barre and Scranton. The Miners play in the Regional Atlantic Football League (RAFL) with home games at the area’s finest facilities.
The Miners’ goal is to serve the people of North East Pennsylvania with year-round community service while providing superior customer service and quality family entertainment on Saturday nights during the football season. Led by their President and Head Coach Daniel LaMagna and supported by Charlie Wysocki — a Wilkes-Barre native and legendary football player — the Miners aim to exemplify the utmost in sportsmanship while entertaining their fans. We are Scranton Football at its finest!

 The NEPA Miners are bringing an impact player to North Eastern Pennsylvania that shares the same core values of the Miners on and off the field. The Miners and the Scranton Hilton will be host to former Washington Redskins Running Back Reggie Evans Tuesday June 30th for a Free Introduction Lunch from 12:00-1:00pm introducing the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). “The FCA shares the same core values of Integrity, Teamwork, Serving and Excellence on and off the field as our organization,” stated Miners owner Dan LaMagna. “This is an opportunity to bring an organization to Scranton that has over 2 million participants and another way for us to give back to our community.” “Everything we strive to do is community driven and we believe this is an opportunity to help others through sports and also connect the National Football League with Semi-Pro Football.” Reggie Evans was a backup up to John Riggins during the Washington Redskins Super Bowl run during the early eighties. Miners Girls Car Wash rescheduled to July 11th due to Weather!

Our Miners Girls Car Wash has been rescheduled for July 11th, Mother Nature said not today as Thunderstorms are in the forecast. Get your car washed at Kost Tire & Auto Service at 398 North 9th Street in Scranton for $5 and support North East Pennsylvania’s hometown team! The NEPA Miners Girls Entertainment Team will be hosting our 1st Annual Car Wash Saturday July 11th from 10am – 2pm. NEPA Miners coaches and players will be making guest appearances to sign autographs. All car washes will be $5 with the proceeds going towards NEPA Miners stadium expenses and to the 2009 Miners Girls uniforms. Our members look forward to washing your car and having fun at Kost Tire & Auto Service in Scranton. See you there, GO MINERS!...
