	Scott Carey, Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator Coach Scott is a versatile and unselfish Coach having coached both sides of the ball and wherever the team has needed him. Scott played offensive and defensive line along with special teams for the Scranton Eagles during the eighties and early nineties when they won five national titles. 	Mike Goodwin, Defensive Backs Coach Coach Goodwin will be entering his third season as the Miners secondary coach. Coach has lined up on both sides of the football in his playing career. Coach Mike played receiver in High school and switched to safety/corner back when he played semi-pro ball in Brooklyn, New York. Coach resides in Stroudsburg with wife and three kids,currently completing his Bachelors degree and obtaining his Masters Degree in Human Services. Read More
	Tom Balko, Equipment Manager/Quality Control Coach Tom played with the Pocono Mountaineers and Scranton Eagles and brings the winning tradition with him to the NEPA Miners. Tom volunteers his time and will be the Equipment Manager for the team in 2011. Read More
	Charlie Wysocki, Quality Control Coach Charlie Wysocki enters his sixth season with the NEPA Miners and also coached two years prior with the Southern Tier Green Machine and the Scranton Eagles as the teams Quality Control Coach. 	Rob Trottini, Wide Receivers Coach Coach Rob graduated from Wyoming Area High School and Penn State University. He currently works at IMT North America and has eight years of experience with coaching all levels with junior football organizations. 	Jeff Phelps, Linebackers Coach Coach Jeff graduated from West Scranton High School and attended Star Technical Institute. Jeff volunteered coaching the West Side Falcons C-Team leading the team to the championship for two years. Coach works at Wayne Memorial Hospital and is entering his second season as the Miners Linebackers coach. Read More
	Mark Heltzel, Special Teams Coach Coach Mark kicked and punted at the University of Pittsburgh and will share his experience with the Miners players. Mark is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University. This will be Mark's second year with the NEPA Miners coordinating special teams units. Read More
	Gary Haase, Head Coach We are proud to announce the signing of Gary Haase (pronounced Hayes) as the new Head Coach of the NEPA Miners. Coach Haase most recently held a 16-5 record in two seasons (2010-2011) as the Head Coach with the minor league New Jersey Stags and is the Defensive Coordinator at High Point Regional High School in New Jersey. 	Neal Newmark, Special Teams Coordinator Coach Neal Newmark was born and raised in Milford, PA and attended Delaware Valley High School. Neal went to Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and is now currently a Graduate Student at Duquesne University for Sports Leadership and Management. 	Darrin McDowell, Quarterbacks Coach/Recruiting Coordinator Coach Darrin McDowell graduated from High Point High School in 1988. Darrin played for under 160 pounds football in North Carolina. Coach McDowell coaches freshman football in 1992 and 1993 giving back to his old school. 	Vinny Lepore, Running Back Coach Coach Vinny Lepore graduated in 1963 from our Lady of The Valley High School in Orange, New Jersey, where he played football, baseball, and ran track.
