Beginning in the summer, the NEPA Miners will kick off their inaugural season in the Pennsylvania Division of the North American Football League.

The minor league football team will be located in Lackawanna County and be coached by Dan LaMagna, who formerly coached Lackawanna College, the Southern Tier Green Machine and the Scranton Eagles.
