Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour & Armed Forces Day Autograph Session 5/19/07
The NEPA Miners visit the Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour Saturday May 19th 2007, 11AM on “Armed Forces Day.” Autograph session with NEPA Miners Football Players, Coaches, Miners Girls Entertainment Team, the Coal City Rollers and Schuykill County Coal Crackers and a press conference with the unveiling of the Coal Miners Trophy after the tour is FREE for the public to see.

The NEPA Miners Football Organization will go under the Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour on Saturday May 19th at 11AM. It will be a great opportunity for all members of the NEPA Miners Football Organization to become more educated on the correlation between the Coal Miners and hard work. What better day to visit the historical Coal Mines than on Armed Forces Day as NEPA Miners Assistant Head Coach and Defensive coordinator Marty Evans served in the U.S. Army and is a member of the disabled American Veterans and has received eight military ribbons.
Please contact the Lackawanna Coal Mine Tour at (570) 969-MINE or the NEPA Miners at (570) 604-4438 for more information. You can get more information about the coal mine tour online at www.thecoalminetour.com.
The NEPA Miners Football Players, Coaches and Miners Entertainment Team will be available to the public to sign autographs before and after the tour. The NEPA Miners will also unveil the Coal Miners Trophy which will be up for grabs in the season opener Saturday night, June 30th versus the Schuylkill County Coal Crackers at Scranton Memorial Stadium in the first ever Anthracite Classic. Members of the Coal Crackers staff and cheerleaders will be in attendance for autographs and a press conference after the tour along with members (Mean Kristine, Stinkbox, Slitstine, Panty Ho and Girlie Girl) of the Coal City Rollers Women’s Roller Derby team.
