NEPA MINERS FOOTBALL AND ENTERTAINMENT NEWS
The NEPA Miners Football and Entertainment Organization is warming up as the teams season opener is only months away! The Miners are spreading the word around Scranton, Wilkes-Barre and different parts of Northeastern Pennsylvania as they prepare to pre-sell season and individual game tickets. Tickets are already available for purchase on the Miners web site and will be available in the Mall at Steamtown in Scranton in the upcoming weeks (check back daily for updates). The picture of NEPA Miners Defensive End Malcolm Singleton and Miners Girl Entertainer Tiffany Fasulo can be found with the Miners season schedule at different parts of the Steamtown Mall. The work was done by photographer Greg Raymond from Studio 0220 in Scranton. Greg is a talented and creative young photographer who designed the NEPA Miners 2007 game program. Also working with the Miners this year is our newest sponsor Stickyfan. Have you ever seen an NFL Bighead? Well Stickyfan will be introducing the NEPA Miners Big Heads, Posters and Car Decals May 31st as part of the 2nd Annual Charlie Wysocki Camp which is being held at Riverfront Sports Complex in Scranton. The camp is for boys and girls 12 and under, there is a $5 registration fee with all proceeds going to the Charlie Wysocki Foundation. From the world of photography to video, the Miners are excited to enhance their video capabilities in 2008 with the introduction of Skipper Media and Apex Sports Software. Skipper Media will attend Miners practices this month for player interviews for the team’s web site, player highlight films and other promotions. Skipper Media will be helping the Miners coaching staff utilize Apex Software on game day and for film study as the team is always looking for a competitive advantage and to do more for the players that work hard on and off the field throughout the year. These are a few of the exciting projects the Miners organization has been working on, not to mention their June 3rd Golf Tournament at the Blue Ridge Golf Course and their June 18th Scranton Chamber of Commerce Business Mixer at the Scranton Hilton Hotel and Conference Center. The players are currently in camp conditioning for the season with practice in full gear just weeks away. GO MINERS!!!
