NEPA MINERS MAKE THE OFFICE
The NEPA Miners organization works hard year round and is very active in the community. The Miners do community service, fundraisers, youth football camps and even “The Office” festivities in Scranton. This off season Coach LaMagna dropped off the NEPA Miners mini football helmet along with some game day programs, t-shirts and hats at a Scranton Chamber of Commerce Office pick up. The Scranton Chamber would then send all the business props to the set of the Office. This season the Miners scored big and made the season premier!
It seems to be a magical season for the Miners who are on pace for there best season in their young team history coming off a courageous come from behind victory on the road versus the New Jersey Wolves. The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees won their championship; we will have to keep watching to see if the Miners can continue the magic here in NEPA. Keep watching “The Office” on Thursay nights and look for that black and gold Miners helmet. We will see you October 4th for the NEPA Miners final regular season home game at Scranton Memorial Stadium. GO MINERS!
| The North East Pennsylvania (NEPA) Miners are a minor league football team bringing a first of its kind football league to North Eastern Pennsylvania that will set the Miners apart from their competitors. While the Miners represent all of North East Pennsylvania, their basis of operations is the Poconos, encompassing the areas of Wilkes-Barre and Scranton. The Miners play in the Regional Atlantic Football League (RAFL) with home games at the area’s finest facilities. |
