NEPA Miners Lineman Seeks Opportunity
NEPA Miners Offensive Lineman Sean Hill had a successful tryout with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers of the Arena 2 Football League. Sean is a 6’5” 330 pound Offensive Lineman who had an outstanding season for the Miners anchoring the left side of the line and being nominated to the North American Football League All-Star Team.

“We don’t want to lose a kid like Sean; he is a good kid and a solid football player. But we also want to see our players advance and hopefully this can open up a door to Arena I for him,” said Miners Head Coach Dan LaMagna. Sean is 25 years old and needs to keep his weight in check to play at his highest level. Sean was actually a Tight End in High School, has played with three minor league teams and played football at Lackawanna College before joining the Miners.
The NEPA Miners plan on having Sean train with Visions Fitness to prepare him for training camp. In the meantime, the Miners are preparing for their upcoming tryout and are looking for Offensive Lineman as the Miners are prepared for Sean to advance and Right Guard Ziggy Wisniewski has retired after an outstanding Minor League Career.
The Miners will be supporting Sean every step of the way, “Good Luck and congratulations!”
