Scott Carey, Sr. - Defensive Line Coach
The NEPA Miners welcome the addition of Scott Carey, Sr. to the staff. Scott played offensive and defensive line along with special teams for the Scranton Eagles during the eighties and early nineties when they won five national titles. Scott was a player/coach for the Eagles in the late nineties before hanging up the cleats and joining the Riverside Vikings staff as an assistant.
Scott is a life long resident of Old Forge and resides with his girlfriend Ellen and four children, Ashley, Scottie, Bethany and Sierra. Along with his passion for football, Scott works for Cook’s Wholesale foods and is an avid hunter, fisherman and little league baseball coach. Scott’s championship experience is a pleasant addition to the NEPA Miners and the Regional American Football League.
