Travis Grobes - Co Defensive Coordinator / Defensive Backs
Travis Grobes comes to the NEPA Miners with ample experience and knowledge of the game he loves. After six straight seasons in Minor League ranks, as a player, spanning between 1999-2005 he brings 1 National Championship, 5 Empire Football League All-Star awards and numerous recognitions for his intricate role in any team that he is associated with. Most recently Travis played with the PFL 6 Stallions and led the team to a playoff birth. While taking on the task of a new position was named Northern Division MVP, and All-Star Quarterback.
After crossing over from player to coach Travis has been devoted to all of his endeavors and primarily to the players he coaches. His experience ranges from developing and molding new semi-pro teams to assisting in operations and coaching for the 2005 NAFL Combine. Travis also enjoys coaching the newly developing football talent on the Pittston Panthers Pee-wee football team.
Travis has three wonderful children and his wife JamieĀ that have played a pivotal role in his success as they remain his drive and determination in life. They look forward to assisting with the teamās development and are sure to bring joy to the field.
